What are Snatch remotes?

Snatch remotes are pre-programmed remote control layouts designed for a particular use. They are saved in a file of type .remote and can be downloaded and installed into the app on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

How to install a Snatch remote:

1. Download the .remote file to your desktop.
2. Run Snatch Server on your desktop and Snatch on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Connect to the desktop from Snatch.
3. In Snatch, go to the Keys tab. Turn on the remote control editor by tapping the "Edit" button.
4. Navigate (by swiping left and right) to the screen where you want to install the remote.
5. Tap "Load Screen" in the remote control editor bottom toolbar. This will send a message to the server to load a .remote file. On your desktop a file opening dialog will appear where you can select the .remote file to load.
6. Once you select the file, it will be sent to your iPhone/iPod. A dialog will pop up with the remote details and ask if you wish to install the remote. Confirm the operation, and the remote will be installed.
